Earlier this year opposition to COVID mask and vaccine mandates led thousands of committed Kiwis to stage nationwide protests that culminated in an encampment near Parliament in the capital city of Wellington.
The protest, inspired by the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa, was one where threats and propaganda were used in a campaign to suppress it.
The government's messaging carried out through mainstream media and social media included notions of extremists in the ranks of the protesters, sex offenders in the midst of protest community and more.
In the end when police used all out force on March 2nd the dark clad men suddenly appeared with fires lit and objects tossed at police in scenes reminiscent of January 6th at the US Capitol.
It was quite a show in contrast to the peaceful and non-violent spirit of the protest movement opposing the COVID regime of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

The Ardern COVID Regime a bit looser now but the massive damage already done inflation and labor shortages plaguing New Zealand especially in education and health care.
"The Freedoms And Rights Coalition" was prominent in the protests earlier this year its leader Brian Tamaki jailed for conducting protests with large crowds violating COVID restrictions.

There is a protest planned at Parliament tomorrow morning New Zealand time Monday evening in the United States.
Troll videos have appeared on You Tube and a video of a convoy of protesters in the Northland of New Zealand was posted on Sunday.

Faced with mainstream media insinuations of violence protest "leader" activist pastor Brian Tamaki said there are no plans for violence or for any long term protest like the one back in Feburary and early March that lasted 23-days...NEW ZEALAND HERALD
And finally just to let everyone know the protest convoys did move across the country during the day video shown on the "Free Forever" Telegram channel of such a convoy in Tokoroa decorated including a bus decorated with the banner.

Tomorrow as the protesters gather Jacinda Ardern's Labor Party going after a Member of Parliament who's called out the leadership for the heavy handed way they manage affairs in "the caucus" of Labor Party MP's.
Gaurav Sharma expected to be kicked out of the caucus but not kicked out of Parliament which would trigger a by-election and a potential embarrassment for Ardern who is becoming increasingly unpopular.
But of course for the protesters in Wellington tomorrow the opposition parties have clearly failed them failing to protect their rights during COVID and being universally in favor of COVID shots.
Even the supposedly "Conservative" David Seymour leader of the ACT Party was famous for saying:
"Don't be a d*ckhead, get vaxxed"
The hopes of this new Parliament protest lie both in a new election and a new political party in New Zealand to represent those who were NOT REPRESENTED during the COVID drama.
